Women Cover Up More On British Beaches

Did you know that women cover up more when they are on the beach in the UK?

I have been reading that a study done by one of the major highstreet stores found that 80 per cent of women will avoid wearing skimpy bikinis at British beaches, while 91 per cent of women said they always wear a bikini when visiting beaches abroad.

So if you are holidaying in Britain this year on a "staycation" where you will be spending time on the beach in the UK, then will you be covering up more than you would when holidaying abroad? If so why is that, is it due to the weather, the thought of seeing someone you know or just perceptions about being on the beach in Britain being different?
