Lingerie Category On AmpleBosom Website

We have a lingerie category on the new AmpleBosom.com website where you can browse through the lingerie we have here at AmpleBosom.

Just click on the word lingerie along the top of the website and you will come to a page with a bra size grid which looks like this:

Here the grid shows bra sizes using the band size down the sides and the cup sizes within the grid. You look at the pink numbers and pick your bra band size and then find the cup size letter that you usually are and click on the corresponding letter on the bra band number line. (Hope this makes sense!) When you click on your bra size it will bring up a page with all the lingerie we have in your bra size.

You can also search for lingerie by clothes size by clicking on the clothes size icon which will take you to this page:

Here you can search by dress size from size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 to 28 or one size.

Hope this helps you to navigate around the new site, please let us know your thoughts as we welcome your feedback.

Elomi Smoothing Strapless Bra

A strapless bra is a lingerie staple and especially during the Summer months as well as the Winter party season when the halterneck or strapless dresses and tops are all the rage.

Check out the beautiful Elomi Smoothing Strapless Bra - The versatility and flexibility of this bra with detachable fabric straps is the solution for those low cut garments. Ultra supportive foam moulded cups gives great uplift and shape. The bra is wired and seamfree, is made from soft microfibre material so a smooth outline is achieved, the cups have built in shaping pads to the side to give uplift and shape as well as deep powernet sides under the arm that smooths and shapes. Has 3 hook fastening. Available is sizes 36 to 48 in cup size DD, 36 to 46 in cup size E, 36 to 44 in cup sizes F,FF and G, 36 to 42 in cup size GG. Colours: Black and Nude. The nude version would be great as bridal wear under a strapless or halterneck wedding dress.

Check out the smoothing shorts in this range which match the bra.

If you would like any help and advice about Elomi lingerie then contact the Ample Bosom office and one of the team will be more than happy to advise you.

Lingerie - for the bedroom

Our clients often ask us if we're planning to introduce lingerie to our line. And they mean lingerie that is meant to be taken off. And as we work with lingerie retailers across the nation I hear them also ask, "will you make lingerie for large cup ladies that's meant to stay in the bedroom?".

Boudoir wear for the full bust is very hard to find. The closest thing I see on the market is the Harlequin brand (Masquerade in the UK) by Panache. The brand's tag line is "Made for Romance". Aubade, Elle Macpherson and Pour Moi? manufacture underwired babydolls, but I'm not sure if they come in the large cup sizes.

This is walking a fine line because by definition *sexy* pieces don't have a lot of coverage, being either low cut or sheer, but no woman I know feels desirable when her voluminous breasts are resting on her tummy. We need lift to feel good about our selves.

This Betsey Johnson babydoll actually has potential because it has a tie back, so you can cinch the support under the bust, and the shoulder straps are adjustable. Maybe one of the best things is that usually this type of garment doesn't stay on long.

Readers, please clue me in if there is a great boudoir wear line out there for the full bust that hasn't made it on my radar. I know some are in the works: www.bijte.com.
